Lion Heads

Jhampa and his sister Seraphina are lion head babies, adoptable through The Rabbit Haven. Categorised as triple lion heads they have side and top mane and a skirt. They are also our neighbors. The pumpkin was grown in the backyard in the "Do Nothing Garden" it is one of 15 Hokkaidos.

Here you can see his skirt growing out.

I took pictures of them less than a week ago and they didn't have their manes, fur grows so fast!

Baby Lion Heads Growing Up

Today, 6/24/2011, nothing went as planned so when I was asked, for the third time, to take photos of the baby lion heads I said "Now, I'll do it now". You can see them just a few days old HERE. They are still growing, but you can see some different personalities emerging from the primordial cuteness of extreme babyness. I was also asked to come up with some short, unisex names that were not too weird. "Are Tibetan words too weird?" "No, that's not too weird." So I leafed through my Tibetan dictionary and choose some words that wouldn't be too hard to pronounce.....

This last bunny is a ringer, he's an adopted orphan.

Special Guest

Months ago I made passing reference to our neighbor, a Lion Head Rabbit from another Dimension. Today we were fortunate enough to have some quiet sun and Mufasa, usually called Fa, came out for a photo shot.

As you can tell he is enormously handsome and beyond unique.

Cool and confident in front of the camera, he is always ready for his close-up.

Cuteness abounds in all his rabbitinesses.
