Friday 55

To know more about Friday 55 go HERE
Here is my 55 word story.

Because I had previously straightened my money and was quite certain there was nothing else in my pocket, I knew that the card which fell, as if from those same dollars could not have come from ordinary reality. Cautiously, I bent and retrieved the card, it was an ace of hearts with Elvis Presley presiding.

I once worked with a girl who was quite certain that Elvis was her guardian angel.

55s are tricky but fun. I'm glad you're playing!

Here's mine. Sometimes I rhyme them, if they seem to merit it: http://www.ampino.com/2012/06/55-zoltar.html

BG-Elvis is pretty busy in the after life. wowza rhyming is very advanced!
M-I did see the other side, this actually happened to me in Trader Joes, I was kind of freaked out by the whole thing so I left the card on the oranges displayed by the Express lane where I was standing.

BMiller-my word count says 55, so....I tell you had to come from non-ordinary reality. The lady behind me was dependent on a walker, I don't think she was up to flipping cards at people's feet.
