Rare

It is pretty rare I should think, except in places where there is extreme political unrest, ethnic cleansing or a deadly epidemic that two members of a family would pass within a month or each other. The Grim Reaper has had a field day with the California Molls and on Saturday my eldest older brother Nick died. I adored him beyond words......

Also in the news, Hermes is still with us, having been to two adoption shows he still cowers in the corner. In the kitchen he flops and bops and when I pick him up he tooth purrs....

We have two guests at The Bun Zen Center; Humphrey and Spuds......

Humphrey checks out the facilities.

Spuds makes sure the pen is long enough to properly relax.

I am truly sorry for your loss. I can relate from having lost my beloved sister some years ago, then my mother.

The buns are adorable. I have a feeling you might have a permanent lodger there with Hermes. Sounds like he doesn't want to go and knows a good thing when he has one.

I am so sorry. There are so many unexpected turns in life. You and your family are on our prayer list.

The buns are just too "at home" there, huh? Humphrey reminds me of an old cartoon with fat bears in it ... Spuds is comfy! My kind of buns!

Oh, Diana. That truly sucks. Grab an armload of buns (well, just the ones who will allow it), and snuggle close.

It is hard for those left behind to grapple with such events. May your memories and dealing with mundane bunny chores help you cope. Our condolences. (P.S.: Humphrey and Spuds are too cute and Hermes doesn't believe in speed dating.)

I am so sorry about everything you're going through, D. It's more than anyone should ever have to bear all at once. We will keep you in our thoughts and try to send you some positive healing energy (will you teach us how?)

Hermes wants to stay. Are Spuds and Humphrey a pair? or coincidentally simultaneous guests. Can't get over how white Spud's feet are.

I'm so sorry to hear about your brother. What a very tough time your family is having. Sending hugs and prayers your way, and some extra nose rubs for the regulars and all the extra buns, too.

Too much for you Diana, too much. I lost my oldest brother almost 10 years ago. He was only 43 and I adored him. I will be thinking of you.
