Controlled Co-Minglement

Like the locks of a canal or, more accurately the multiple gates of a cattle shoot, I can control where a bun goes, or more or less. This afternoon the opportunity presented itself to have Harriet and Sydney shut in their pen and Amelia and Tyler sharing the rest of the warren. All photos were taken today 03/30/2011

Amelia checked out the facilities on "The Other Side"

and moved on to more chinning.

After a good while I shut Amelia in her pen and let the other girls and Tyler have a go at her non-pen territory.

Sydney chinned the Buddha and used the willow tunnel.

Harriet enjoyed Amelia's under the desk fort/meditation area

and settled in for a nap.

Great pics of the buns exploring "the other side". Did Tyler wear his cloak of invisibility the whole time?

Just when you thought it was safe to go into "The Other Room!"

Great shots of the buns. I especially like the one of Harriet with lateral ear placement.

Amelia: Hmph, so this thing is what they've all been fussing about? I just don't see it.

Sydney: Ooh, I like this!

Harriet: Hmmmmm, I do like what she's done with the place...very cozy...she won't notice if I take a little nap, I won't even nibble the cardboard...

Tyler:...ummm, sis? Harriet? Hello? Can I come out now? Darn it, I hate it when they make me play hide and seek...they never seek!

Heehee, WV is "pettin"! As in "I so want to give the 4buns some pettin, but they're on the other side of the country!"

MM-it seemed to be had, indeed, and the best part was there was no territorial peeing on the carpet.
FF-Tyler was pretty chill and stayed out of the way, though he did do his share of exploring Amelia's side of the warren.
RG-it is never safe.
B-H's ears are just the best, she has a lot of control too, whereas A, well, not so much.
J-LOL thanks for filling in the blanks!

Ok Amelia AND Harriet are DEFINITELY going lop. I think the only explanation is that they feel threatened by the intense adorableness next door (although there is no need to feel threatened, their adorableness is unparalleled).

C-it was a good day, certainly.
L-or maybe exploring brings out a lopness, looking a bit bigger and thus more imposing.....certainly your theory has veracity as well.

Even buns can use a change of scenery once in awhile...
