Today's breakfast basket special was Hidden Surprise in a Radicchio shell. Unbeknownst to the buns inside the cilantro garnished radicchio nestled in a bed of dandelions lay 3 chunks of fresh home grown pumpkin. Not a secret for long split seconds after the baskets were introduced the pumpkin had been plucked.....
Amelia excavates for the golden treasure within.
And is rewarded.
Harriet just after she finds her first piece.
Sydney guards her tasty bit.
Good to the very last molecule.
Tyler amidst the carnage, hunting for more pumpkin.
Yes, they did finish their meal, completely and utterly.

We play this game as well - but normally for the baby bell peppers.
Bertie and Mercedes here. We love the photos and wish that you would open up a bun restaurant or tea shop that those buns with less inventive owners could patronize.
such lucky buns!
Wow, and I thought I was being fancy putting everything into a bowl, lol!
Ahem, we tried some pumpkin around here and the spoiled brats wouldnt touch it. Acted like I posined it. I am mailing you 5 little (well, not so little) stinkers.
That should read "poisoned"
I will live vicariously through you--Silver will not eat pumpkin OR bell pepper!
My store doesn't sell pumpkin!!! My buns are coming over. They said from now on they won't eat what I feed them, only meals served by D. Moll!
L-Come on over, I'll even pick them up at the airport.
C-Silver has very, very discriminating tastes. When Harriet first came here she did not like pumpkin, but the other buns have influenced her.
C-Be sure to put air holes in those bun boxes...they have place at our table.
BG-I've been watching a little too much Master Chef...
MOC-I'd say spoiled, but it's all good healthy bun food!!
DKM-it's a fun little game! haven't tried baby bells, but it sounds tasty.
Oh what a fabulous buniforis feast! Glad Harriet is doing better and could enjoy such a gourment menu. They are so precious D.
xx, shell
Yum. My buns are jealous and intent on getting even with me for holding out on the pumpkin.
I'm not showing that post on the big-screen bunny TV here - no.
Good for them, eating all those greens :) Have you moved? Is there a new address? Let me know :P
Mickey has so far resisted all attempts to introduce him to pumpkin. I'll probably have to resort to shredding it into his food dish to get him to even give it a sniff.
Then again, perhaps a cilantro salad in a pumpkin bowl might entice him to at least nibble...
oh wonderful - gourmet food for bunnies!
