Monday Bunday

Stretching and meditation is an important part of every rabbit's daily cuteness maintenance ritual. In order to nurture maximum cute Qi the mind must be calm but open, meditation is helpful in attaining this state.

Often, as Amelia demos here, stretching and meditation can be combined with the ancient healing art of Yoga which was invented in India by a rabbit.

The pose she shows here helps to open the shoulders and align the top of the torso with the hips giving the lungs, heart and stomach (not to be confused with the lower intestines) space to re-settle into beneficial positions. If your bunnies try this at home be aware that the positioning of a brick at one hip is entirely optional.

Have a great week everyone and when in doubt be a bunny.

Amelia looks like a natural. Does she give classes or have a DVD?

I showed this to Mickey in the hopes of inspiring him; he says while he enjoys the occasional stretch, he prefers the "bread" position, where he looks like a loaf just popped out of the pan.

I think I'll give that a try.

Okay, you win the prize for funniest thought ever:

...stretching and meditation can be combined with the ancient healing art of Yoga which was invented in India by a rabbit.

I'm still laughing.

HAHAHA. D, we miss you all week.

Please ask Amelia if her yoga class goes on tour, if she could please make an appearance on the east coast. I'd love to take her class.

"When in doubt, be a bunny." -I like it.

L-the Amelia tour....hmmm....must design Tshirts first.
CGP-mission accomplished.
P-when does my prize arrive?
C-let me know how it goes.
J-beleive it or not, i have been told that Bun Loaf is the equivalent of the Lotus in human Yoga.
FF-she is totally a natural, right now she is just going to do the blog, see if she gets picked up by a publishing company.
MOC- :)
CC- we suspect Humphrey has some cuteness maintenance rituals as well.....

Oh, my. Amelia is, as always, quite lithe and lovely. I have never seen my own buns assume that pose. Mostly they bunch up, noses in each other's armpits.

I wish you the best of luck on the homehunt--I just read your last post too. California may be more difficult, but have you thought of getting in touch with a real estate agent? The fee is paid by the landlord, and sometimes (a good one) will have helpful ideas or know of someone.

SOoooo peaceful zzzzzzzzzzzzz ..

We might ought to get Neil Young to write and sing "Oh to be a Bunny" Clint E. could direct the movie.

Your housing concerns would be all over!

(PS Good luck in the search - our bunns are beaming good thoughts about bunny pets down that-a-way.).)

oh...I love this post! So bun-derful and I must be living in the cave wondering who invented yoga haha! Thanks to that indian bun, we are all now enjoying yoga at it's best. I think Amelia did a fantastic pose with all her stretches..now I need to go see if I can be better than her. I am stressed now at times...so I'll remember to be a bunny the next time..hugs and love/m
