Thump Day

A whirling kaleidoscope of thumpable occurrences is readily available. Friends in divorce AND bankruptcy court, decent folk loosing jobs for bad reasons, cars impounded, world pandemics, greedy drug companies,  the list goes on. Myself, I have started my last class at the high school with no money for supplies. It is Moku Hanga  and since this is the first time time it has been taught we have no left over supplies. I'm making do, but I will have to spend some of my own funds. These 9th graders are so eager and good natured I want them to have a good experience, so in the moment I don't mind so very much. My Acupuncture license comes up for renewal this month and oops I don't have quite enough CEUs to renew, so I am doing a couple of at home courses, but I won't be done in time....so my license will be revoked until I have completed them and have the paperwork submitted. And then I misplaced my car registration renewal and must needs procure another. April is indeed the cruelest  month, but May is just 'round the corner. Like the song on the radio said "Keep your eyes on the prize, hold on."  The Spots are up to their usual tricks...........

Sydney has been taking Bunrobics with Hans.

Stretch the spine and point the tail.

I gave the Spots one of the Willow chews we made last year,
it caused a flurry of furry activity.

Tyler playing pick up sticks with himself......

Someone once told me that "God only gives you what you can handle" -- then someone else said "well I wish he didn't trust me so much." things will get better - the spots have the right idea

Anything with Hansy is good! Maybe we should all sign up for his class and forget our cares.

I've gotten so used to crises that they don't phase me anymore. Whatevah. This morning we had to do some last minute financial maneuvers to take care of property taxes for the land that Hurricane Ivan left us, no homestead exemptions there!, and they're delinquent after tomorrow. I just didn't worry about it and then there it was. Maybe I should just let the county take it and save me the bother since no one wants waterfront anymore...Anyone need a place to live?
Also, rabbits ate some of out corn plants. Not the lettuce, the corn. Go figure. We'll plant more.

ALL-Actually I consider my own problems quite minimal....I think it is sort of a trend for April........
AT-The Spots are practitioners of many esoteric arts, Yoga is one of them.

I think I need to get the buns on some bun yoga. Lando is looking a bit chunky these days. Too many grapes from the nieces I think.

I know the feeling - it seems right now, as soon as I manage a problem, another one arises.
Hope the bunnies keep your mood happy though.

Where we live there are a number of rather shabby people who stand at the corners by the grocery stores with cardboard signs of various pleas.

The other day I saw a guy walk up with his cardboard and a Starbucks smoking a cigarette. I sort of thought he was not looking too needy. When I came out of the store I saw his sign "I Don't Need Anything. I'm Doing Just Fine."

Oh, I think what's going on with you and your friends is important, I was just saying, awkwardly, that I realize mine aren't more important than others. There'll always be troubles...

Ugh, what a bummer about April! We hope May brings you more joy :)

Sydney is really good at bunrobics! Before we know it, she'll be taking over the class from Hans! Tyler looks like he's about to make a very important speech with his willow-microphone hehe

Great bunaerobics pic!

I'm sorry to hear so many little problems are hitting all at once. Often it's not the elephants that get us, but the gnats.

Tomorrow is May and I'm wishing you a good one!

Your post was getting me pretty down, but then all the bunny pictures made me feel better! Such is everyone's life when you have a rabbit around, I think :)

You can renew your car registration online? Have you tried that?

RBunner-don't let me bring you down! The the renewal # for online reg was on the renewal form I can't find.....all I need to do is wait on tht phone for a long time to get another (I hope).

You are so right - we have to be thankful to have bunnies, they keep us sane and make us smile, no matter what. It is a hard time but I am sure you'll bounce back, you just strike me as that type of person who doesn't take rubbish from anyone or anything. And then there's bunny therapy...
Tyler is so cute with his twig, makes me want to reach over and give him a head rub :)

I can see a lot of Bun-tivities and the Spots enjoying all games they made.

It's the bun version of downward dog, moving into crane. LOVE the straightened tail. Stretch your tail! Move all your breath into your tail! Feel the energy moving all the way to the tip of your tail!

That's my next career- bunyoga instructor.

ah...here are the spots without a care about the world crisis or pandemic. Sorry to hear about the problems...your friends losing jobs ets., we are already experiencing such issues here. My sis-in-law just lost her jobs, more people are being retrenched and having pay cuts and the travel industry takes a nosedive with the Mexican flu floating around. Hope that everything will get better and do admire your commitment to your students. Hugs...M
