Monday Bunday

Humans are still fighting the URI (Upper Respiratory Infection) mentioned in previous post. It would seem to be a nationwide epidemic of sorts and by all accounts can last for three weeks. I seem to have mine minimized with herbs, supplements,  and sinus rinses, not having to resort to DayQuil or NightQuil, as, it would seem, most the population has. It is so slow in going away, the best thing so far has been laying out in the sun (with maximum skin exposed) and getting really warm then taking a nap, then, for awhile,  I feel like it's gone, but we haven't had the weather to implement this course of treatment with any regularity.  My students have partially taken to more hygienic practices in class and are especially fond of the hand sanitiser; cleaning hands with dramatic flourishes upon entering the classroom. It's a start.

Ahem, excuse us, but we'd like a word about the recent drop-off in services. The frequency of treats has dramatically plummeted and we are actually missing jumping in a lap for our dinner. Our pen could be a bit cleaner, too, what is up with the maid?

Do you see this foot?
(That's Sydney's foot)

And do you see this foot?
(This is Tyler's foot, pointing accusingly)

We are putting our feet down and they will be thumping
if things don't turn around pretty soon!

Be good to rabbits everywhere.

Strong doses of sunshine to fight URI.. I'll remember to try that the next time! Hope you get well soon.. maybe the Spots can thump those URI germs away with their big, strong bunny feets :D

Beware the thunderous, thumping feet of pissed-off buns. Buns wait for no URIs. But we hooman slaves wish you well, Diana.

It looks like you need to hurry up and get well so you can do right by the buns!

Regardless of the illness of the humans, the buns must be taken care of...Service seems to be slipping at your place!

No slack. They cut you no slack.

But it seems not long ago we were reading about this training they were receiving .... perhaps you have not yet gotten to the lessons on sympathy. Or maybe that page got eaten.

There is the remedy where you take a big jug of red wine and crawl into bed .. stick one foot out. Drink wine and watch the foot. When you can no longer see your big toe cap the jug and go to sleep. When you wake up you are cured!

I didnt know sunshine helps...we have heaps here, I'll remember that the next time :D hey...both the spots are not happy, come up...we bunnies don't care if the 'maid' is sick or not, we just need the full attention as always..love as a bun is always good! Here's to a better spring...is it there yet? and to a better, er healthier maid..oops, you. Though, in my house there's not much difference ..maid and mummy, pretty much the same chores done ;p

Once upon a time, while my father was stationed in San Diego, he became prone to walking pneumonia so his doctor told him to go to Palm Springs and lay out in the sun for a week or two. So he did. He would wrap up in a blanket (he was a redhead) and absorb the heat of the sun and it went away. While he was there he met and talked to Edgar Bergen. I don't think he talked to Charlie McCarthy, though. I hope you feel better, Diana.

There is nothing more distressing than getting stomped at by a rabbit! :) Extra treats should help ease the disapproval!

Demand more blueberries!

Oh, dear. I come to your blog, and what do I see? A silently accusing pointing foot!

Nyquil and Dayquil--don't work and make you feel worse. I like RG's solution. I like to squeeze a bunch of lemons and make some lemonade--fresh, lots of vitamin C, no weird hangover. Cheaper than Nyquil too. Hope you feel better very soon.

Sydney's foot looks VERY menacing! I think she could make it onto DR.com with just her toes!

It's been a while, but thanks SO much for that "haircut" link. SO cute and funny!
