"It sure was fun to see all our bunfriends and a soft snuggle is the best thing to come home to."
Saturday yielded the first red poppy of the year. Front yard is full of them, and the front strip, by the street is just poppies (carefully transplanted and thinned by, guess who?). This one is from one of the resting vegetable beds in a place that I tried to grow what turned out to be some very sad snow peas. The volunteer poppy was perfectly happy.
There are also California poppies and Breadbox poppies that have popped up in the backyard, but no blooms from them yet....

oh I can't wait until it warms up here and we can go outside and play in the garden
That is a very happy poppy. But the wonder buns look hung over. Too much fermented carrot mead at the bash, maybe?
The Spots sure do look tuckered out!
Yay, Spring!
they look like their enjoying their chillaxin! and the poppy is lovely!
Snugglebunnies! Cadbury sure enjoyed partying with his spotty friends!
As an FYI, your prize winner was one who didn't leave contact info. If I don't hear from the winner in a few days or can't make contact some other way, I'll draw again.
We're having poppy seed cake!
Gads they volunteer like weeds here .. got several pretty varietys .. but just the first little sprouts so far this year!
They are such a snuggly pair.
Those are perennial poppies, yes? I have a strip of those I keep trying to take out - but I guess I leave bits of roots since they always come back. I've been trying to limit myself to bread-poppies, but they are certainly persistent!
snuggly bunnies and poppies, nice combination. It's a good video!
We can't get the poppies to grow here; I've tried from seeds a couple of times. What nice snugglebuns. And a most enjoyable time was had by all at the party.
I'm told there's a poppy festival near where I live in Malibu. In April I think. I'm eager to check it out.
