The rabbits outside were too fast and shy to paint. Foraging afield, the baker’s boy found a baby one. Hand fed, it lived in the artist’s studio. The hare thrived and they trusted each other. Sleeping in the sun the rabbit lost himself in dream while the artist found him with his brush on paper.

BM-knwoing rabbits there is no way he could have produced such a painting and close study without having befriended the bun.

Oh! Yours is a magical beautiful 55! The last sentence is superb! Made me think of the time I ran over a nest in the high grass around the water hydrant with the lawnmower. Very sad. Won't go into it here. Thanks for a lovely 55.
