Flash Friday 55 #7

The rabbits outside were too fast and shy to paint. Foraging afield, the baker’s boy found a baby one. Hand fed, it lived in the artist’s studio. The hare thrived and they trusted each other. Sleeping in the sun the rabbit lost himself in dream while the artist found him with his brush on paper.

Oh, yeah and Flash 55 Friday has it's command post

GMn-bunnies are interesting, it's not my doing
BB-thnx, I seem to respond well to the constraint of structure.
S- omg no the Young Hare is from German artist Albrecht Durer, painted in 1502
BM-knwoing rabbits there is no way he could have produced such a painting and close study without having befriended the bun.
CGP-yes, it is a lovely hare, lol everyone's favorite.
B-thank you Bunnits
S-Thank you Speedy

I like the story behind the painting, as well as the painting itself. A neat pairing for G-Man's 55.

Oh! Yours is a magical beautiful 55! The last sentence is superb! Made me think of the time I ran over a nest in the high grass around the water hydrant with the lawnmower. Very sad. Won't go into it here. Thanks for a lovely 55.

What a concept - nice work. How many tries does it usually take to get a nice story in the required words? Or is there a process to sort of flow into it?

Diana, any idea what's happened to House of Rabbits and Rabbits Guy? Blogger tells me his profile and the blog are no longer available....
