Waiting

Today we waited anxiously for news of the nuclear reactors in Japan, it is thought if the meltdown is not contained there could be fallout at the warren.....We send prayers to all the inhabitants of Japan

Tyler does indeed look like he's waiting anxiously... as are we all.

Yup - Ty looks worried and Harriet needs him to comfort her! ;-) Me, I've been singing REM's great hit...It's the end of the world as we know it...

Tyler looks worried. I am too, given that Japan is now admitting to a partial meltdown at one reactor and overheating at another.

Should the worst happen (I don't think it will), pack up the buns and head to Texas. Don't even bother asking and waiting for an answer, since the answer is already yes. Contact me from the road and I'll tell you how to get here.

I've got family you can overnight with near Albuquerque, and I might be able to arrange lodgings in Arizona as well. If you take I-10 most of the way and bypass Albuquerque, I have a cousin in El Paso with plenty of extra space who'll give you and the critters a room for the night.

I really don't think it will come to that, but it can be reassuring to have a bug-out plan. I know I always feel better when I have plans A, B, C, etc, worked out.

MOC-glad you found a soundtrack :)
BG- Sweet, thank you, I hope it does not come to that. I have a cousin in Tucson.....

It is scarry.

My husband has been checking earthquake and volcano activity on the USGS website (earthquake.usgs.gov) for over a year now, keeping an eye out for supervolcano activity at Yellowstone. It has been very interesting to keep track of.

Keep Clam everybunn. Be Prepared. Flashlights and extra water.

Be sure you re-read those "Tsunami-evacuation route" signs if you have them.

Stay tuned to the radio or TV.

And to chill and relax a bit - hold a bunny!

I was thinking Tyler's expression was more, "You're not going to tell Amelia about this, are you? She'll never let me hear the end of it."

We'll be thinking many good thoughts for everyone and everybun.
