Rabbits3 Report

Amelia has, for the time being completed her darkening project. Whether the result of the cooler weather or, as Mum of Critters suggested good nutrition. Or both. I am not sure. Her fur is much softer than when she arrived on that fateful day in July.......Funny thing, I must confess, I never really liked pink eyes until I met Amelia, now I think they are fantastic. Love does change all.

Sydney has decided I need guarding and this is often the my view from the laptop "station". I am very flattered by this attention.

Here are girl buns together in an extended snuggle. There is still chasing, but I'm beginning to think that that is good exercise and benefits the figure and inner organs. I did catch Sydney with a small mouthful of fur the other night, but within minutes they were eating hay side by side as if nothing untoward had occurred.

Tyler is very busy keeping his harem groomed and kissed. Unfortunately he often has to clean his own face, Amelia is all about receiving and not reciprocating. I try to make up for my gender in general by petting him as much as I can. When Amelia senses this she rushes over and muscles in for pets too..........

We send our best wishes and bunny hugs to Christina and her bunnies, Nemo is sorely missed by his family as he cavorts at the Rainbow Bridge.

Diana,
You are so kind. Thank you so much for your sweet emails and for posting about my little Neep Neep. Love to you and Rabbits 3. They are lucky kids.

what a lovely post. I've often wondered why Amelia has pink eyes even though she's not albino.....

I love it to see the girls hanging out together. And how funny that you have a bunny guard now! They get some very odd notions at times.

poor little Nemo, thanks for your beautiful rainbow bridge Diana!

looks like Amelia and Sydney are both in the (yin) 'yang' position?
and my Guarder has a similar self-imposed obligation here too!

When a rabbit wants me to know why something happens, I am sure I'll be told .... until then .... Sometimes I think they are aliens from another place and ones like Nemo have gone back to report in ... I fear I will not fare well in said report!

Maybe I shoud try cats ... NO WAIT .. I did NOT say that ...

Occasional chasing is, I think, normal. Even Gus and Betsy, after years together, still have little "fights" once in a while.

Sorry to hear about Nemo and will send on my condolences. I do think nutrition probably plays a big part in the coat. IT definitely does with dogs and I see it all the time in rescues. Nutrition and reduction of stress. But there is also what you and bunnygirl said about natural color changes that I never knew of!

Fidget has taken to guarding me when she's out. I told someone that and they couldn't hardly believe it (neither could i) but that seemed to be what she was doing... or maybe it was just making sure she didn't miss me going to the fridge for more greens!

I love Amelia's "points," and I especially love her pink eyes. I didn't care for pink eyes either before Pink, but his rescue-mom always says that "pink eyes are the eyes of love."

Nice rainbow you did ... we have a bridge here, In LaConner, called The Rainbow Bridge and it always reminds me ...

Prayers and hugs to Nemo and his family. :(

Rabbits3 are as beautiful as can be. Healthy and happy indeed. Even with the occassional mouthful of fur. Naughty....

Ah, Amelia looks beautiful! Perhaps she is just a little lady and appreciates having different looks :)

Glad to see all three are getting along so well! I think some chasing and disagreement at times is probably natural.
