Just to keep everybun up to date: Rabbits3 have been officially photographed in a close and relaxed configuration. See evidence below, no it is not Photoshopped, I am not capable.
Recently Rabbits3 have been the recipients of great generosity; first Rabbits Guy of The Houseful of Rabbits sent them some apple sticks in the mail; then Silver, of Buns of Silver fame, sent a servant with many, many of these tasty wood treats. All members of Rabbits3 are so grateful. Amelia made this little video to demonstrate how the enjoy an apple stick.
Have a great week and don't forget to take a nap.

Bunderful! Just Bunderful! I don't know a lot about bunny body language but is it significant that Sid and Amelia are facing the same way (like Sid isn't watching for a problem but totally trusting Amelia?)
Yay! Warms the heart on this cold winter night! I love the stick-chewing (she makes them look quite enticing), and the shot of the little gray feet and tail.
You are a very pretty girl, Miss Amelia. Please tell us what makes a good apple stick and maybe we can send you some from OUR apple tree. We also have a pear tree, a persimmon tree, and a wild cherry tree so let us know if they are any good for munching and we'll slip some of those in as well.

Great job on the video Amelia. You make an excellent bunny instructor. The contented picture of the three is just wonderful.
They look so peaceful and content together. Yay for successful bonding!
I like how you got Amelia's little "shoes" into the apple stick video. She's quite the fashionista.
I just love that they all get along!
Love the video too.
Its so lovely to see Amelia demonstrating the use of apple sticks so beautifully and the photo of the three together is wonderful
I'd be bunny happy too if I had all these treats :)
My apple twigs are from new wood that grew last summer. New wood bark is much tastier. When Mr. Ankles prunes the trees in winter, he saves the new wood for me. My twigs are free of systemic fertilizers and pesticides. Mr. Ankles uses some topical pesticides and fungicides in the spring before there is much new growth, or there would be no trees.
Aww, they look so cute tucked up together! Amelia has very cool ears, I had to watch the vid twice cos I missed the chewing whilst I was watching her ears bobbing about.
Our apple tree is only small so twigs are rationed or there'd be no tree left. We put a hazel and some raspberry canes in last summer to increase twig production.
Aww so nice to see them laying together! Thanks for the video Amelia :) We are demanding apple sticks now!
Your bunnies look like Dalmatians! They are awesome. I have a fake stuffed dog in my apartment, well I mean, it's not a FAKE stuffed dog, its a real stuffed animal, but not a real dog, so, I guess, I mean what I'm trying to say is I like your bunnies.
Looks like three guys hanging out waiting for work!!!
Yes .. the fresher off the tree the better. Fruit trees are usually pruned in about Feb-March so if there is an orchard nearby, go see if they'll save some. Our bunns will chew them up to about 3/4" thick. If they are really thin they first nibble off all the bark and then eat them like spaghetti!!
(It is good to see the three so happy together .. what a story! I wonder did Shakespere write about something similar?)
"The Taming of the Shrew" "Out Damn Spot" "A Midsummer's Night Dream" .... Heeee Heeeee
Next?????
Squee!
RG-maybe I can get them a gig at Shakespeare Santa Cruz.
DKM-totally
B-thnx for visiting and enjoying the bunnies!
P-nice to have you back, yes, demand stix, congrats on your new minion.
T-Yes, A's ears are quite something in their infinite variety.
S- gawd, no wonder they produced such ecstasy.
MK- go get yourself a nice stick :P
CGP-we are working on more how to videos.
FOA-it's been a long road, and there can still be some chasing and fur pulling....not all snuggles and snorgles LOL
C-first photo of many, I hope of the three being as one.
BG-Yes, for a girl with such floppy ears she is quite concerned with her appearance, a teen age think I think.
RD, W & MD- I'll have to check on toxicity, I think there are some trees that are good...so sweet of you !!!
G-I think maybe the lower temps may have driven them together....
MOC-I think Syd can be assured that Amelia wouldn't nip her, that is more or less certain....
harmony! peace wins out!
never got to see the apple chewer unless Amelia turned the lights off
AFT- I don't know what happened to the movie! I even tried to put up another and it was just black too.....are Rabbits3 blacklisted by Hollywood?
Movie is back now!!!
I do believe those are some well deserving buns of such wonderful treats! Precious!
