We have a new guest at the Ben Zen Center, Basil (pronounced Bah-Zel, if you please), he is a GIANT Flemish. Such a big and lovely bun, he is too.
Note the noble profile.
He is so special that the bunny sized Tibetan prayer flags jumped out at me in the garage, and so his pen is adorned like no other.

Looks like a French lop to me (they are very big too) maybe a Flemmie/french lop cross! Flemish giants do have stand up ears.
No matter what breed he is, he is gorgeous! I love giant bunns.
Now we know who really put the "bah" in "Grand Poobah".

m-yes, i see in the some of the pics of french lops a couple just like him, i'm going by what the adoption org said, flemmie french lop mix seems more accurate.

Is he living proof that bigger buns are more snuggly?
Is he up for adoption? Not that we should get another bun, but man I have a soft spot for the big guys, and I still miss Obi bun.

<3 I love him. He does look like a French lop. (they can be 25 lbs!) Someday I would like a gigantor bun! We need some kind of scale for the big guy... maybe your hand?
I saw a Flemish at a fair once when I was a kid. Its babies were bigger than my Netherland Dwarf gal!
