Labor Day Weekend will see 9 rabbits at the Bun Zen Center; 4 guests, 1 foster, 4 permanent residents. Our newest guests are Gracie and Ted from Sunnyvale, they took advantage of the the Center's bunportation offer of pick up for $20.
Gracie was happy to find they had been assigned a room with a view.
Just to be on the safe side Ted brought his own facilities.
Bear and Lolita were excited by their new neighbors, they are excited by pretty much anything. Bear came with some antibiotics to finish up. I don't know what they put in them, but he goes nuts. He jumps up for the syringe and grabs it in his teeth and I shoot it bit by bit into his mouth. It's all over in seconds though. The stuff is bright orange and it doesn't say what kind of antibiotic it is on the bottle, but it sure is bunny friendly...

Quite the service list: limo, concierge health care, scenic views, gourmet salads--how are other aspects of the operation? Are there many bun yoga classes? Does each denizen get his/her own rock? Do the guests get complimentary treats with each mani/pedi? Turn-down fruit or carrot bites? Supervised trips to the organic vegetable garden on the grounds? A round of communal carrotinis before turning in? You're setting a standard in bun care that others will be forced to follow, yet find hard to measure up to. On behalf of all buns, kudos.
Your guests are adorable--I would have a hard time letting them go home; I'd be asking for ransom money. ;)
Wow. I should be so lucky when I go visiting.
One of our buns occasionally used to get an antibiotic that was banana flavored. Giving it was no problem, but the enthusiasm was no match for Bear's.
Bear's enthusiasm is frankly off the scale, of course bunny crack jokes abound...
And yet you live all the way across the dag gone country! Waaaaaaaaa!!! I want you to be my bunny sitter!!!
xx, shell
They are sooooo cute!!
I would love to meet Mr. Bear! I can just imagine his excitement. Your bunny service is unmatched!
