Breakfast

Lest Henry and Onyx complain too bitterly about being left behind while their peeps were partying out of the country, The Bun Zen Center is trying to keep morale high with tasty salads; Farmer's Market organic greens supplemented with garden produce.

Here is a one of the fancier offerings: radicchio, parsley, cilantro, mint, kale, mallow flower, nasturtium leaf and flower, borage leaf and flower.

Henry picks a Mallow flower.

Henry noms the Mallow flower.

In case you were wondering I do have written permission to use Henry and Onyx's images in this blog.....

Yum! I want a mallow flower. And I really like borage, too. Didn't grow any this year. :( Coming to your house for breakfast, buns in tow.

Yay for photo-posting permission! Otherwise we'd be so deprived not seeing those sweet bunnehs.

That's almost too much bunny perfection! Buns eating flowers. Thank you! Henry almost looks as if he isn't sure whether or not he's going to get into trouble for eating that flower...

I'm sure Henry and Onyx would prefer to be left behind in the gourmet salad bar that is the Zen Bun Center than to be hauled across country borders and be subject to inspection. Do organic apple sticks follow the salads for freshening the breath? And when is the next Bun Yoga session?

You sure know how to treat your guests! I would feel a lot better about going out of down if there was a d. moll's Zen Bun Center around here.
