Random Offerings

Friday night was date night here at the Rabboratory, Amelia and Harriet had some greens together. You can see a little movie of them HERE. Amelia seems to have forgotten that she ever groomed Harriet and this date, as with all their recent dates, ended in a Me, Me, Me stand off, at the end of which Harriet lunged at Amelia for not grooming her. I was ready for this and uttered a stern "eh!" or something like that and Harriet stopped short.

Neither black queen or white queen will concede.....
such self esteem!

Amongst the Spots, it is a furry white and action filled place.

They know so much that I don't.

Tyler believes, and rightly so, that he has
the quintessential bunny tail.

I'm working on a new Moku Hanga print, Amelia in Her Dream. This is a pencil rubbing of the blue, green and black blocks. I colored on it a bit to get an idea of what else I needed to do. I still need to cut at least one more block for the back ground and adjust part of her back just behind the ears to the beginning of the line, it's just not right. I think I'll put the eye in by hand......Finished image size will be 10 by 8 inches (big for me!).

your print is coming along beautifully. Amelia looks lovely, just as she does in real life. Tyler does have the quintessential bunny tail too.

I love the print D. The colors are beautiful. A dream filled with dandy's? Sugie and Razzy have the same dreams.
It will be interesting to see which queen wins the stand off.

The famous bunny standoff... The print is gorgeous.

I like how the Amelia print is coming along. I hope the real-life Amelia can come to some sort of agreement with Harriet soon. If they knew how cute they were together, maybe they'd want to be friends.

I love "Amelia in Her Dream!" And the lovely photos also. And the video--I get a kick out of the fast-but-even chomping.

Ah hell ... dye them both blue and tell them to get over it.

The print will be great and the video -- bunnies - food - no worries!

That is definitely Amelia! I think, in her dream, Harriet is about to enter stage right, in horns and carrying a pitchfork.
In The Spots' version of the dream, they are circling overhead, flapping their wings, a nimbus over each perfect (one more perfect than the other)tail. Rabbits have to have their halos over the tails so they will not interfere with ears.

Love your bunnies. What great subjects for your work.

Oh..yes, they are conspiring something and not telling you at all. I love to see Amelia and Harriet together, maybe it's the contrast of their different fur colours. Happy bunweek ahead!

a very beautiful print of Amelia indeed!
I watched their dandelion sharing and my goodness - the whole page had bunny bonding sessions all over it so I passed it onto a friend who is bonding two stalwarts! Did you see with the rabbits in the basket on top of the washing machine? Ingenious idea I think.
I wonder if the Black Queen and the White Queen will ever call it a truce? After all, they are Queens and therefore cannot concede much.

AFT-LOL yes, there are so many ways to bond!
MK-they are definitely not telling me something.....either that or I'm incredibly paranoid.
ES-Ha, ha, bunnies are my floating world.
C-you are right about the need to reposition the halos....
Bs-it's all about food.
BG-I keep telling them that their cuteness will be exponentially increased with the removal of the fence.
C-at least they're not armed...
MM-we might have to write up a truce that provides for the taking of turns.
G- why thank you !
E-that is for sure.
MM-it may be sort of bunny universal thing....
CGP-Amelia does want to be sure she is portrayed correctly...
