A fine and private place; note: sea grass square and bag for immediate dental satisfaction
Although Tyler and Sydney do a lot of things together, like hang under the table on the double occupancy snoozy pad, they do have separate interests which they pursue with lagomorphic tenacity. Tyler is quite fond of cardboard, Sydney would rather destroy the back of the couch (or what is left of it). He likes the closet, she prefers the study. Tyler likes, in the mid morning, to be under the bed and chewing anything. This is his space, Sydney rarely joins him.
The usual suspect, or one of them.
Sometimes during feeding she will hop away and do binks while he is eating. Now how strange is that? Just the other night he was eating the preferred Organic Spring Mix from my hands and she was in the enclosure doing the craziest bun dance, and there really is not a lot of room in there. Both buns wear their sunglasses all the time, mighty suspicious.

What a fun post, any place i can laze is a favourite place :D
oh how lovely that she dances while he eats, very sweet.
I like the tag, destroy couch.
Not too long ago a local psychologist visited in an adult Sunday School class I was attending. They were bringing in different people to give practical advice about sustaining your marriage, communication skills, etc. One of the psychs talked about the idea that spouses need pursuits that are completely seperate and apart from each other. In that light, it appears that Syndney and Tyler are very happily married/partnered. And I love that she happy dances will he eats.
2 bunns with separate interests? That is interesting!
You so often post photos of them together that I had begun to wonder if they ever spent time apart. Cute that they have different "hobbies."
Around here, we say, "Never trust a bunny that wears a mask."
Your descriptions of their friendship make the idea of a second bunny quite tempting... :)
They sound like a very healthy couple :) Shared and non-shared interests. They are shady characters with their sun-specs!
And instantly, that song that starts "I wear my sunnnnglasses at night" began running in my head. My head is now having fun playing it and replaying it. I think I'm just simple. The bunnies, though? Not simple--quite complicated. And oh my, what does the bf say about the couch?
One behind the couch, another under the bed. One in the closet and one in the study. Interesting.. is this the Spots' Art of War? Spread out the army to secure larger territory and ensure mass destruction? :D
BG-good advice about the masked bunnies..
Glenna-there's also "The Future is so bright I gotta wear shades" by Timbuk 3 if you get tired of the other. BF no at all happy about couch, I dare not asses damage in the back(whre most of the damage is) while he is here....and then there is a certain amount of nibbling on the baseboards....now sheilded by cardboard..
FB- yes, and it seems to be working.
So what we're thinking is damage is in the back and he won't know until they unexpectedly tunnel up through the cushion while he's sitting there one day. We have extensive damage to the newish bedroom carpet. I prevented them from going under the dresser (where they chew), and they chewed a hole in front of the dresser instead (just down to the canvas/plastic grid, by pulling out each little carpet strand, so it's less a hole than a bald spot). I concealed that by pulling the dresser forward a bit and putting the dresser foot over the hole. But the huge hole under the bed? Let us just give thanks for BF's old high school football knee deterioration. It's quite horrifying large. The hole, not the knee. He is aware there is SOME damage--just not the extent of it. And if you look at my bunny pictures, such as the last one of Peaches running into the bathroom, you'll notice some of our nicely chewed woodwork. This is in our new house that has lost fully 1/3 of its value since we bought it 2 years ago, so the bald spots and chewed woodwork add insult to injury, pretty much.
no wonder those bunns wear the shades .. all that destruction and ability to bring out the inner thoughts and feelings of the frustrated keepers ...
How do the buns celebrate Valentine's Day?
Happy day to you anyway
Thinking back to Hugo and Miss Eve, and now Miss Eve and Neville, I think this is a typical bunny thing - I mean to have different hobbies and fav spots to linger on. Miss Eve definitely loves to lay down next to the case of one of my demo systems (don't ask, it's work!), while Neville will happily flop anywhere I show signs of willingness to pet. Hugo used to love flopping wherever he felt like it. His favourite resting place was, however, inside the crate, although he was known to flop and snooze anywhere in the living room. Oh my I do miss Hugo!
Thanks again for the lovely card - it's a gem! As a material "thank you" I've mailed something today on your way - please do share it with Tyler, Sydney and dear BF, who has to put up with holey sofas (although he doesn't even know the extent of it yet!) :)
Happy Valentine's Day :)
i *think* she's entertaining him while he eats... you know, dinner and a show for her man!
Sometimes Norbert and Abbey get into things without me. But I run over really fast to check it out so I don't miss any fun!
